KOTA BHARU, Feb 17 — The promise of lucrative payouts has led some locals to risk smuggling illegal immigrants into the country.

TUMPAT, Sept 19  — The shortage of border passes in states bordering Thailand, namely Kelantan, Perlis, Kedah and parts of Perak, has been resolved since last week, Immigration director-general Datuk Ruslin Jusoh said.

PADANG BESAR, May 5 — Travellers from Malaysia and Thailand can now use their border pass to enter the two countries starting today.
